Full renovations

For flats, apartments and villas that need more than a facelift. We renew the installations, change the layout and hand over a home that is ready to live in.

What is included

Good to know

  • In older buildings it pays to renew plumbing and electrics at the same time: opening the walls twice costs more.
  • If you want to remove walls, we first check whether any of them are load-bearing.
  • A full renovation usually has to be notified to the town hall; we handle that.

Bathrooms

The most requested job on the coast: replacing the bathtub with a spacious shower tray, new tiling and modern sanitaryware.

Good to know

  • Under the shower we lay a waterproof membrane before tiling; that is what prevents leaks into the flat below.
  • For the shower floor we recommend slip-resistant tiles.
  • A bathroom without a window needs an extractor fan vented to the outside.

Kitchens

We measure, propose a layout and coordinate every trade: plumbing, electrics, joinery and fitting.

Good to know

  • An induction hob and an oven need their own electrical circuits; we check this during the visit.
  • In kitchens open to the living room, a hood vented to the outside makes all the difference.
  • Choose the worktop before finalising the quote: it affects both lead time and price.

Shops and outdoor spaces

Shops, terraces, pergolas and waterproofing, with materials made for sun, humidity and sea salt.

Good to know

  • Near the sea we use marine-grade stainless steel screws and fittings.
  • A terrace above a living space needs waterproofing before the new paving goes down.
  • For shops we take opening and accessibility requirements into account from the start.

We work with our own supply. That gives us control over lead times and quality, and we also sell materials to trade and private customers.
